Welcome to the immersion of Self-Care 101. I started doing retreats about 11 years ago, to introduce individuals to the necessity of taking time out for themselves. We are often unaware of the energies we expend, when we just spend every minute of the moment taking care of other people. What I found along the way of doing these intensive retreats, that most people had never taken a trip to take care of themselves, a lot of people felt uncomfortable and strange not being responsible for their family and almost feeling guilty for taking care of themselves. But what I found the most was that people needed a space to recharge and learn new information that help them choose themselves better and daily. I'm honored to bring this year's retreat to the masses and I'm committed to creating and cultivating cultures of good Mental Health and Strategic Self Care Plans for individuals who are ready to Re-Engineer their lives.

About Dr. Jaycee

Dr. Janelle Chase-Mayers is a Creative and Systemic Therapist, a master facilitator and a current PhD scholar. Janelle uses sociometry and experiential activities to engage her audience to create movement and change within their particular social spaces.

Are there any additional lodging charges?

All lodges charges are included

Can I leave the retreat at any time?

My suggestion is to immerse yourself in the retreat for the full five days to get the best experience. Research suggests that in order to have a transformation, you have to step away for at least four days.

Is food provided?

All meals will be provided.

How much of this retreat is outdoors?

This is an experiential retreat. All sessions include movement and talking in nature's classroom. Every day there will be at least two outdoor events.

What should I do to prepare for the retreat?

Your full presence is requested. Please get a good night's sleep and be ready to find your balance!!

What are the temperatures this time of year?

We are always sunny, between 28 to 31 degrees Celsius, which is 82 - 87 degrees Fahrenheit.

What do I wear?

Retreat wear, workout clothes and sneakers, loungewear, casual clothing, swimwear, hiking attire.
